Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1/3 c. sugar
2 large egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 c. all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
1/4 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Butter two cookie sheets.
Heat butter and honey in a medium saucepan, stirring occasionally over medium heat until butter is melted.
Stir in sugar.
Cool 5 minutes.
Add egg whites and vanilla, stirring until well blended.
Stir in flour, salt and almonds until well blended.
Drop batter by tablespoon onto prepared cookie sheet, 3 cookies per sheet. Spread in 4-inch circles.
Bake 5 to 6 minutes, until edges are golden.
Cool on cookie sheet on a wire rack.
