Apricot Orange Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2) can apricots
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. jello (apricot)
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    1 (7 oz.) bottle 7-Up
Preparation
    Drain apricots; reserve syrup.
    Puree apricots.
    Combine syrup and salt and heat to boiling point.
    Add jello and stir until dissolved.
    Add balance of ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Finally slowly add 7-Up around sides so it will not boil over.
    Pour into mold. When set, makes 12 servings.
