Mom'S Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. milk
1/2 c. Crisco or 1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. ripe bananas
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 tsp. banana extract
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Mix wheat germ; set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Stir in bananas, milk and banana flavoring.
Add dry ingredients, mixing well.
Mix in nuts.
Turn into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch well-greased pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
