Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. margarine
2 c. packed brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) milk chocolate candy bar
4 c. flour
5 c. dry oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Blend dry oatmeal (quick cooking or old-fashioned) in food processor or blender until powdery.
Mix with flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Set aside.
Cream margarine and sugar together until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add flour and oatmeal mixture; mix well.
Mix in chocolate chips, nuts and broken chunks of milk chocolate candy bar.
This requires a very large bowl.
Drop by golf ball sized spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
A small ice cream scoop works well.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Do not overbake.
