Granny'S Potato Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. instant potato flakes
    6 to 7 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Heat together milk and margarine to scalding; do not boil. Cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl. Add cooled milk, salt and sugar.
    Stir in potato flakes and enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Knead on floured surface 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and satiny.
    Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk, 45 to 60 minutes.
    Punch down; divide in half.
    Shape into 2 loaves.
    Place, seam side down, in well-greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
    Let rise again 30 to 45 minutes.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes, until golden brown.
