Frosted Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 or 2 tsp. grated orange rind
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    Decorating Frosting
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cream butter and sugar; add juice, egg and orange rind.
    Add flour mixture, a third at a time, stirring well.
    Shape into a ball.
    Wrap in plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate several hours.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Roll dough on lightly floured board.
    Cut with cookie cutters and place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
    Bake 7 to 8 minutes.
    Cool and frost.
