Cracked Chocolate Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2/3 c. vegetable shortening
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. unsweetened baking cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)
    1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, shortening, water and vanilla in large bowl.
    Beat on medium speed until blended.
    Beat eggs into creamed mixture.
    Combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt.
    Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended.
    Stir in chocolate chips. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake one sheet at a time.
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Bake 7 to 9 minutes until cookies are set, do not overbake.
