Apple-Carrot Quick Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. (2 medium) peeled, shredded apples
    1/2 c. (1 medium) shredded carrot
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. Pillsbury all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease bottom only of 9 x 5 or 8 x 4-inch loaf pans.
    In large mixing bowl, blend first 5 ingredients. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
    Add remaining ingredients, except nuts.
    Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour batter into prepared pan.
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
