Zucchini Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced zucchini
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
dash of salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
dash of nutmeg
3 Tbsp. flour
butter or margarine
2 unbaked pie crusts
Preparation

Peel and cut zucchini lengthwise in quarters.
Remove seeds; slice crosswise.
Cook zucchini until tender-crisp and drain.
In separate bowl mix zucchini, lemon juice and salt; set aside.
In another dish combine the cinnamon, cream of tartar and nutmeg; mix and add to the zucchini mixture.
Blend well all ingredients. Pour into pie crust and dot with butter.
Add the top crust and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
