Ingredients

1 c. dates, chopped fine
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Cook first five ingredients until thick, stirring all the time.
Add remaining ingredients.
Shape into balls and roll in coconut.
