2/3 c. softened butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 large can drained, crushed pineapple (reserve juice)
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream the butter with sugar. Add beaten eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add pineapple and adjust batter with more flour or juice until batter is firm but moist.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased pan. Watch carefully; the bottoms burn easily.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Frost.
