Mexican Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can refried beans
    1 very ripe avocado
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese (save a little for garnish)
    2 cans chopped black olives
    shredded lettuce (enough for 1 layer)
    finely chopped tomatoes (enough for 1 layer)
    onion (optional)
Preparation
    On a large tray (or platter) spread refried beans, avocado mixed with sour cream, a layer of cheese, black olives, lettuce and tomato.
    Spread remainder of Cheddar cheese over top.
    Place nacho chips on all sides.
    Serves a large crowd, 10 to 20.
