Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/8 c. molasses
    2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream together shortening and sugar until well mixed.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.
    Add molasses, then dry ingredients that have been combined.
    Chill dough; roll into balls and into sugar.
    Place on ungreased sheet and bake for approximately 12 to 15 minutes.
    (Makes approximately 3 dozen.)
