Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Beat butter and shortening together.
    Gradually add sugars, creaming until mixture is light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
