Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. molasses
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
sugar
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, egg and molasses until light and fluffy.
Mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and salt.
Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease baking sheet; set aside.
