Ingredients

1 c. butter Crisco
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Beat first 6 ingredients until light and fluffy. Mix and blend next 3 ingredients to sugar mixture. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips into mixture. Drop 2 inches apart from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
