Chocolate Bit Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together three times. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Add vanilla. Fold in chocolate bits.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes in paper cups.
Cool.
Dust with confectioners sugar.
