Applesauce Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and egg.
Add raisins, applesauce and nuts.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix until well blended.
Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheets and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
