Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine, add eggs and other dry ingredients and vanilla.
Chill dough at least 1 hour before rolling out on a floured board.
The batter is rich so if it picks up a little flour on the rolling pin, it will make no difference.
Use a simple butter frosting for the trim on the cookies.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.
