Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. smooth peanut butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 (2 oz.) pkg. peanut butter cups, each cut into 6 or 8 pieces
1/3 c. cocoa powder
2 sticks softened butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
Preparation

In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking soda; set aside.
In large bowl with electric mixer, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla about 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well after each addition.
Reduce mixer speed to low.
Gradually beat in flour mixture until smooth.
Stir in peanut butter cup pieces along with chocolate chips.
Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, 1-inch apart.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes until dry and slightly firm to touch.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
