Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. milk
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs (unbeaten)
2 large bananas, mashed
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
Add 1 egg at a time; mix well.
Add milk, bananas and nuts; mix well.
Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or more, until done.
Cool for 20 minutes, then remove from pan.
(Slices better if chilled first.)
