Pumpkin Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. cornmeal
    4 Tbsp. softened butter
    2 eggs
    2 c. pumpkin (15 oz. can) or fresh pumpkin, steamed until soft
    1 small (8 oz.) can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    In separate bowl, combine sugar, cornmeal, butter and eggs and stir into flour mixture until blended.
    Add pumpkin and corn. Pour into greased and floured 9-inch loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour or more (usually 1 1/4 hours) until center tests firm.
    Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan.
    Let sit several hours before slicing.
    This bread is delicious toasted with butter.
    Makes 1 loaf.
