Fritters (Banana Or Apple) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Mix and sift dry ingredients together. Combine milk and well-beaten egg and add to dry ingredients, beating constantly. The batter should be thick enough to coat fruit. Cut up 6 bananas. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Dip in batter and fry in hot deep fat (Crisco). If apples are used - chop or dice small and sprinkle with slightly more sugar and bake. Taste for sweetness.
