Ingredients

1 1/2 c. dates, cut fine
2 well beaten eggs
1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. nuts
shredded coconut
Preparation

Grease a heavy pan with butter.
Put in first 4 ingredients and cook until thick.
Stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add next 3 ingredients.
Let cool.
Butter hands and roll into small balls (teaspoon), then roll in shredded coconut.
