Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening (2 sticks oleo)
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. quick cooking oats
Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar, shortening, coconut and vanilla.
Add flour, soda, salt and oats.
Form into balls; press with a fork. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
