Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. oleo
Preparation
    Melt oleo in skillet with 1/2 cup sugar. While it cooks, in another pan, cook 2 cups sugar and milk. Add sugar mixture when it is brown. Cook like fudge until it forms soft balls in cold water. Will ice 2 layers for cake.
