Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
3 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts
2 grated lemon peels
juice of 2 lemons
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Cream well. Add egg yolks and beat well. Blend together dry ingredients. Add to egg yolk mixture alternately with milk. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, nuts and lemon peel.
Turn into 3 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
