Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. each: salt, baking soda and cream of tartar
pecan halves
chocolate chips
red hot (cinnamon) candies
Preparation

Cream margarine, oil, sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar.
Add to creamed mixture.
Chill dough until firm, at least 1 hour.
