Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed banana
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 Tbsp. sour milk or cream
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar well.
Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Add bananas, lemon juice and milk.
Put dry ingredients together and stir into batter.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool on cake rack.
