Chocolate Kiss Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    granulated sugar
    1 (9 oz.) bag Hershey chocolate kisses
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, shortening and peanut butter until creamy.
    Add egg, milk and vanilla; blend well.
    Mix in flour, soda and salt.
    Roll small spoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls, then roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until golden brown.
