Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped apricots
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    1/4 c. water
    3/4 c. frozen orange juice
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Soak apricots in warm water.
    Cream sugar and shortening; add egg, 1/4 cup water and orange juice.
    Mix dry ingredients together.
    Add nuts and drained apricots.
    Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
