Ingredients

4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
1 lb. sweet butter
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. almonds, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 oz. whiskey
Preparation

Beat butter for about 20 minutes until fluffy.
Add powdered sugar, whiskey and vanilla.
Slowly add almonds.
Gradually add flour until dough is soft.
Dough could be chilled for an hour, but not necessary.
Roll into balls and bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0 on ungreased cookie sheet.
Cool, then sift powdered sugar generously over each.
