Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Vidalia onions, sliced
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. heavy whipping cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, cover onions with water.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
    Drain.
    Put onions in an 8-inch square baking dish.
    Mix egg, cream, salt and pepper.
    Pour over onions.
    Top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
