Ingredients

2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. or more confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream butter in bowl for 10 to 15 minutes or until very light. Add 1/2 cup confectioners sugar, egg yolks and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour and baking powder.
Shape dough into small crescents.
Place 1-inch apart on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Place cookies carefully on waxed paper sprinkled with 1/4 cup confectioners sugar.
Sprinkle with remaining confectioners sugar.
Cool thoroughly.
Store in airtight container.
