Crackling Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    1 c. cracklings, diced
Preparation
    Sift cornmeal, salt and soda together.
    Add milk and stir in cracklings.
    Form into oblong cakes and place on greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yield: 3 to 4 servings.
