Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (sift before measuring)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt (scant)
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. coconut
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. oatmeal (not instant)
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix sugars, butter or margarine, oil, egg and vanilla together with mixer.
Sift together flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar and add to the mixture.
Then add coconut, Rice Krispies, oatmeal and pecans.
Drop by spoonfuls on greased pan; flatten with a fork. Bake about 12 minutes to a golden brown, leave some space between. Cool on a rack.
