Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted flour (plain)
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, well beaten
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cream butter and add sugar, peanut butter and brown sugar, gradually creaming after each addition until light and fluffy.
Add egg and mix thoroughly.
Add flour mixture gradually beating after each addition until smooth.
Drop mixture one teaspoon at a time and about 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Press with fork until thin, making crisscross marks.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until cookie is brown.
Remove immediately from pan to cool.
