Grammie'S Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. shortening or 1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. floured blueberries
Preparation
    Sift first 2 ingredients together; set aside.
    Beat egg whites stiff.
    Cream shortening with sugar.
    Add yolks.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Add vanilla and blueberries.
    Drop in foil cupcake liners in muffin pan.
    Sprinkle tops with sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Makes 1 dozen.
