Grandmaw'S Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine
    1 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. uncooked old fashioned rolled oats
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. dark raisins
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs; add vanilla, baking soda and salt.
    Blend in oats, flour and water to make fairly stiff dough.
    Blend in pecans, raisins and chocolate chips.
    Drop mixture by teaspoon onto baking sheet.
    Flatten slightly.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are just browned around edges and feel firm in center.
    Don't overbake.
    Remove from cookie sheets.
    Cool on rack. Makes 4 dozen.
