Ingredients

2 Tbsp.butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in heavy skillet.
Add dates, sugar and eggs. Cook over slow heat.
Stir constantly until mixture comes away from side of pan or makes balls.
Take off; cool slightly, then stir in Rice Krispies and nuts.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on a piece of wax paper.
Shape mixture into 2-inch rolls.
Chill.
Cut in slices.
