Date Mini Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped pitted dates
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine dates, oil, baking soda and water.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Add sugar, flour and egg.
    Stir until just moistened.
    Pour into 3 greased 5 5/8 x 3 1/4 x 1 7/8-inch mini loaf pans.
    Bake in oven 40 to 45 minutes.
