Ingredients

2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
1 c. chopped pecans or flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 stick margarine
Preparation

In large saucepan, bring sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine to boil.
Add oatmeal, pecans or coconut and vanilla in boiling mixture.
Mix thoroughly and drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Cookies are ready to eat shortly.
