Choco-Chip Meringue Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Pillsbury fudge cake mix
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 box Pillsbury fluffy white frosting mix
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Mix by hand until well combined.
    Press into a 13 x 9-inch or\ta

    pan.
    Prepare frosting mix as directed
    on package;
    spread frosting on unbaked fudge base. Keep
    frosting about
    2-inches from pan edge.
    (Frosting will spread
    while baking.)
    Sprinkle\tpecans\tand chocolate chips over frosting. Bake
    at
    350\u00b0
    for
    20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick
    inserted near
    edge
    comes out clean. (Choco-chips will not melt.) Yield: 3 dozen bars.
