Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. (1 stick) unsalted butter (at room temperature)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. semi-sweet morsels (chocolate chip)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Butter (or use Pam cooking spray) 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, beating well. Stir the dry ingredients together and combine with the butter mixture. Blend well. Add the bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Stir well. Stir in the nuts and chocolate chips and pour into the pan. Bake for 1 hour, until a cake tester comes out clean. Turn onto a rack to cool.
