Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 regular size yellow cake mix with pudding
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. fresh frozen coconut
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (9 oz.) whipped topping
Preparation
    Mix cake mix by package directions with additions of 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 (6 ounce) package coconut.
    Bake by package directions in greased and floured 9 x 13 x 13-inch pan.
    Meanwhile, heat together but do not boil the milk, sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Stick cake with wooden toothpicks to make holes.
    Pour hot mixture over cake.
    Allow milk to run into holes.
    Let cake cool completely.
    Spread thawed whipped topping over top of cake and sprinkle with remaining coconut.
