Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp. unsifted enriched flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. pitted dates, cut up
1 c. walnuts
Preparation

Beat eggs until light and fluffy; gradually add sugar, beating until thick.
Sift together dry ingredients; mix in the dates and walnuts.
Fold into egg mixture.
Spread in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool. Cut in 16 squares.
Roll in confectioners sugar.
