Air Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with salt until foamy.
    Gradually add brown sugar and vanilla; continue beating until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in pecan halves.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls into lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in preheated 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Turn oven off and leave in oven an additional half hour.
    Remove and cool.
    Yield: 3 dozen.
