Ingredients

1 qt. milk
1/2 c. rice
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
Preparation

In heavy pot, combine first three ingredients.
Cook until rice is soft and starts to thicken.
In separate bowl, combine remaining three ingredients.
Add to thickened mixture and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until pudding reaches desired consistency.
Cool and serve.
