Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. sour cream
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Fold in cream. Add dry ingredients.
Chill to very cold (dough is soft).
Roll out thick, using powdered sugar on board.
Place on slightly greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450\u00b0 until lightly browned.
