Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
2 Tbsp. milk
2/3 c. chopped unsalted peanuts (dry roasted)
1/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

In mixing bowl, beat margarine and brown sugar.
Beat until fluffy.
Add egg and milk.
Beat well.
Mix flour and baking powder; add to mixture.
Drop by rounded teaspoon on waffle iron. Cook same as waffles.
Cool on rack.
Frost, if desired.
Makes 20 to 24.
